For the life of me I cannot figure out how to fix this issue. When I don't go through Ebay my labels print on only about 1/4 of the large labels and they are always turned in the wrong direction. First, I can print a big postage label if I do it from Ebay but not if I am trying to do it for my own personal labels. I love mailing from home but having issues I've been using my Dymo 4XL for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love being able to mail from home. Never needed anything but some light maintenance once a year (and it never demanded it, we just do it because that is what we do)! Great little machine. It will come in handy and save money! If you have problems with yours, I suggest getting some help with it. I kept it rather than selling it or trashing it. I still have it and we will be using it now to print our barcodes since we just integrated an inventory system into our business complete with barcodes. (Added that to counteract the reviews about the cost of the labels). The brand ones are silly expensive compared to the "brand" ones and work just as good. But, you CAN use generic labels in this printer.
The reason that we no longer use this is because we combined shipping software and ended up getting a printer that we could use the free supplies from UPS. Only had a few little issues here and there, but in the 4 years that we used it, it was amazing. We ship a LOT of items during the week and this thing kept up. It took a little bit to get this little guy set up to work with UPS Worldship and our other shipping programs but it worked fantastic while we used it all the time.
The only thing I don't like, there is no on/off switch, so unless you unplug it every night it stays on all the time.nĮxcellent Little Workhorse I'm writing this review because I suspect that some of the negative reviews are user errors. You can print postage, you only have to pay a one time fee of $49.95 which pretty much covers the postage software and you get 2 free rolls of DYMO Stamp labels. It is fairly quiet, and prints very quickly. Installing labels is really easy, it has a diagram under the lid. Lots of clipart to choose from, even has the clipart in categories.
The software is simple to use, it has step by step instructions. I organized my daughters toys, organized all the binders on my desk and book case, I labeled storage boxes in the basement, printed labels for large envelopes, even printed labels for my shoes.

Wonderful addition to my desk I just don't know how I was living without this! I was selected by Smile圓60 to try and review this for free and I have been able to do so many things with it.
